  • Obviously, the aging process is the main cause of sagging skin. The elasticity, tone and firmness decrease with age. However, remember that regular nourishing and toning facial masks adapted to the age of the skin keep us looking radiant and good.
  • The skin also sags due to a lack of proteins and nutrients in an unhealthy diet.
  • Elastin and collagen are essential for firm skin. When there is a shortage of these substances, the skin slackens.
  • A sedentary lifestyle prevents the transport of oxygen and nutrients to the skin.
  • The sun is the skin’s natural enemy. Be careful about exposing your skin to the sun. It dehydrates and ages the skin and the collagen content decreases.
  • Surprisingly, our emotional state also influences the health of the skin. Stress, anxiety and irritation cause constriction of the blood vessels and tension in the muscles, so that the absorption of nutrients no longer happens as it should.
